TENDER DESCRIPTION
The existing building of the fire brigade of the City of Müllheim i.M. is located in a confined inner-urban setting on Hauptstraße in Müllheim i.M. The building, which requires renovation, is in an operationally unfavorable location and does not meet today’s functional requirements of the fire brigade. Since renovating the existing buildings is not sensible from a technical and economic perspective as well as with regard to the unfavorable location, the facilities are to be housed at a new site. The City of Müllheim i.M. makes available a plot of land located advantageously in terms of traffic at the south-western city approach at B3 for implementation. To find the best solution for the additional space requirement and the functional requirements for the new fire station, the municipal council decided to carry out a design competition for realization. The architectural firm BJW Architekten has been commissioned with the further planning. To implement the construction measure on the basis of the further developed competition design, additional planning services are now required.
