The City of Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe plans the construction of a new fire station in Bad Homburg - Ober-Erlenbach, Vilbeler Straße 38, 61352 Bad Homburg vor der Höhe. GENERAL STRUCTURAL DESCRIPTION The planned building is divided into three interconnected building sections. - a two-storey wing, - a single-storey connecting building, - a vehicle hall with a two-storey technical area. The building is planned to be constructed using solid construction methods. Load-bearing and bracing components are to be executed in reinforced concrete and masonry. Non-load-bearing internal walls are planned as lightweight partition walls. The intermediate floors and the ceilings above the upper floor (roof) of the wing, the connecting building and the technical strip in the vehicle hall are reinforced concrete slabs. The roof of the vehicle hall will be executed as a timber structure. The building is founded on a elastically bedded reinforced concrete foundation slab on a correspondingly prepared load-bearing subsoil.
