The framework agreement has a flexible start date, which will be either a specific date, upon contract award, or upon contract award but not before a specified date. The end date is also flexible, either a specific date or after 12 months. The basic duration of the framework agreement is 12 months, with the possibility of the client extending it three times, each for an additional 12 months, making a maximum total duration of 48 months. The framework agreement will terminate no later than 48 months, even without a formal termination notice. It can also end prematurely if the lot-specific maximum acceptance value is reached.

Separately, support contracts are available for durations of 36, 60, or 84 months.

• Support Contracts: Support contracts with durations of 36, 60, or 84 months are required, including various service levels such as NBD (Next Business Day) service and 24/7 services with specific reaction times for Prio-1 incidents.
• Documentation: Provision of documentation with specified language and form, along with reproduction rights for the standard software documentation.
• Pricing Structure: The contracting authority requires a standardized fixed-price offer based on a defined reference quantity structure for a total duration of 12 months. Bidders must convert their specific license metrics (e.g., per Core or per Socket) to cover all operating costs for the specified hardware.
• Availability and Lifespan: All offered components and required functions must be available at the time of the offer, and there should be no End-of-Life or End-of-Sale announcements for any offered components.
