TENDER DESCRIPTION

The construction measure is a project of the Federal Republic of Germany - Federal motorway administration, carried out by DEGES - Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs- und -bau GmbH, Düsseldorf branch office. In the further course of the specification of services, DEGES will be referred to as the contracting authority (AG). The Autobahndreieck (AD) Heumar forms part of the south-eastern Cologne motorway ring and connects the A3, A4 and A59 motorways. The existing structures, some of which were built in the 1930s, are deteriorating. For the purposes of comprehensive and long-term optimisation, it has therefore been decided to re-arrange the entire AD Heumar together with the main carriageway lanes. An environmental construction supervision (UBB) is to be used both for project preparation and project implementation. Necessary protective, avoidance and mitigation measures to protect nature and the landscape are presented in the landscape management accompanying plan (Landschaftspflegerischer Begleitplan) and in the environmental specialist documents.
