TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the delivery of VMware software subscriptions including the associated support services as well as professional services (service entitlements) for the University Hospital Cologne and the eligible beneficiary companies. The procurement includes in particular VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vDefend and other VMware products in accordance with the scope of services. The services are procured on a demand-oriented basis during the term of the contract of 60 months by way of individual orders. These include the provision of the software subscriptions including maintenance and support as well as the use of professional services. Additional purchases of further licenses are possible to the extent provided for in the contract. The aim of the procurement is to ensure the economical, secure and highly available operation of the client’s existing VMware-based data center infrastructure.
