TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the procurement is the conclusion of a framework agreement for the delivery of VMware software subscriptions including the associated support services and professional services (service entitlements) for University Hospital Cologne and the eligible companies. The procurement in particular includes VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), VMware vDefend and other VMware products in accordance with the specifications. The services are procured in a needs-based manner during the contract term of 60 months through individual orders. These include the granting of the software subscriptions including maintenance and support as well as the use of professional services. Further purchases of additional licenses are possible within the scope provided for in the contract. The objective of this procurement is to ensure the economic, secure and highly available operation of the existing VMware-based data centre infrastructure of the contracting authority.
