For the application of the software, each floor is divided into different areas. This division is made taking into account the fire compartments. In each of these areas, one IO node is used. The respective areas are subdivided into the areas required for the application. The design of the hardware of each IO node is based on the information in the floor plans and overview drawings. With the weather station described later, weather data can be taken into account in the applications and the blinds can be controlled in a weather-appropriate manner. The licenses required for shading correction and dynamic wind monitoring are listed in the specifications. Up to 3 DALI ballasts or one DALI group can be controlled in each area. These are controlled via light switches, a DALI presence detector, or multi-sensor. With DALI, the maximum possible cable lengths depending on the conductor cross-section must generally be observed.
