TENDER DESCRIPTION

Delivery and implementation of a fully automated Automated Liquid Handling System (pipetting robot) for aliquoting study samples for the biobank of the Kepler University Hospital as part of a cooperation project with Johannes Kepler University, including maintenance and ancillary services such as project planning and coordination, commissioning of the pipetting robot, connection to the existing IT infrastructure, on-site training and support by an application specialist, as well as full service. The system must be suitable for processing a wide variety of liquid sample materials (including serum, plasma, whole blood, urine, cerebrospinal fluid) and must ensure flexible, easily configurable programming for the parallel processing of multiple studies with varying protocols. The aliquoting process must be carried out fully automatically. Seamless integration with the existing Biobank Information Management System (BIMS) is mandatory.
