TENDER DESCRIPTION

A fully automated inverted research fluorescence microscope is to be procured as a ready-to-operate complete solution for standardized routine imaging and flexible research applications. In particular, the system is intended for automated large-area imaging of pollen on Hirst tape or comparable adhesive carriers, on microscope slides prepared with Vaseline or comparable media, and on individually prepared reference pollen samples. Further applications include phytoplankton in microscope slides or in flat sample and counting chambers, as well as small plant reference samples including seeds and surface structures. The generated multimodal image datasets are to be used for quantitative image analysis and for the development and evaluation of methods of machine learning and artificial intelligence.
