TENDER DESCRIPTION

With this contract notice, Väylävirasto and the City of Helsinki initiate a procurement procedure concerning the construction of the “Vt 4 section between Kehä I and Kehä III and the Ilmasillan grade-separated interchange” contract. Väylävirasto and the City of Helsinki are seeking tenderers and consortiums of tenderers to implement the Vt 4 section between Kehä I and Kehä III and the Ilmasillan grade-separated interchange project. The project will be implemented using an alliance model, in which the selected contracting party carries out the construction of the project in cooperation with the Contracting Authorities. The design party will be procured separately at the beginning of the project’s development phase for the project’s best interest. The procurement and integration of the design party into the project will be carried out for the alliance’s best interest from among a broad group of tenderers. The project’s development phase is expected to start in January 2027 and the implementation phase is expected to take place during 2027.
