TENDER DESCRIPTION

Minerva is a joint Business Intelligence system of MDR and NDR for the central collection, aggregation, analysis and visualization of usage data of digital and linear media offerings. The platform provides data from Web & App, Social Media, YouTube, Podcasts, TV, Radio and SEO in thematically structured dashboards and supports data-based decisions at both operational and strategic levels. In addition to platform-specific evaluations, Minerva also enables cross-media analyses. The system is operated by NDR Media Research and is made available to the participating broadcasting organizations predominantly via a network-based approach, while selected areas are protected by login. Technical support and further development are provided by an external service provider in accordance with NDR’s technical, specialist and security-related requirements. During the term of the contract, support for a possible migration to an ARD-wide successor solution is intended. The decommissioning of the system is currently expected for the end of 2028.
