TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority intends to enter into a framework agreement with one (1) contractor for the delivery of initially eight (8) and optionally two (2) water tanker trucks. The warranty period forms an integral part of the assignment and is always procured. Maintenance after the end of the warranty period may be procured optionally by means of a service and maintenance agreement. Of the eight (8) initial water tanker trucks, seven (7) are intended for Veiligheidsregio IJsselland and one (1) water tanker truck is intended for Veiligheidsregio Fryslân. Of this initial procurement, by no later than the end of Q2 2028 five (5) water tanker trucks for Veiligheidsregio IJsselland and one (1) water tanker truck for Veiligheidsregio Fryslân must be delivered. The remaining two (2) water tanker trucks from the initial order are intended for Veiligheidsregio IJsselland and have an expected delivery date in 2029. The option for the delivery of the two (2) optional water tanker trucks in 2029 and the related optionally to be procured maintenance is dependent on the outcome of the contracting authority’s fire-fighting water plan.
