The contracting authority is considering continuing, as of 1 January 2027, self-insured employer status for the WGA. Whether the contracting authority will also actually continue self-insured employer status for the WGA with a private insurance policy depends on the fact of whether self-insured employer status is a (financially) more attractive option than arranging WGA financing with the UWV. Robidus will carry out the analysis in order to determine the above. At the reference date of 01-08-2026, the contracting authority had 490 employees in service. The expected WIA wage sum in 2027 amounts to € 25,729,161. The actual scope of the assignment is known after the final premium statement for WGA insurance.
