TENDER DESCRIPTION

After the fire incident dated 13 May 2025, the City of Erkrath, represented by the Immobilienmanagement, Department 65 (hereinafter “contracting authority”), intends to reconstruct the school centre at Rankestraße 4-6 in Erkrath. The affected facilities include a grammar school (Gymnasium) and a secondary school (Realschule). As a result of the fire incident, both schools can no longer be used and are to be replaced by new buildings. The contracting authority intends to have a total contractor plan and build a four-form-entry grammar school and a three-form-entry secondary school together with external facilities, with a modern learning atmosphere (cluster formation) and additional special areas such as, for example, an auditorium (Aula), a canteen (Mensa) and educational areas (“pedagogical flä-chen”), to render them turnkey, and to allow them to be calibrated, commissioned and maintained (award to a total contractor).
