TENDER DESCRIPTION

The City of Essen, represented by the Office for Roads and Traffic, hereinafter referred to as the contracting authority, is awarding winter service tasks on pedestrian facilities in the City of Essen. The winter service work within the city area is awarded in three partial lots (North, Central, and South). The affected pedestrian facilities mainly include important crossing points over or along major traffic roads within the built-up area, sidewalks on and under bridges, as well as important pedestrian connections on squares and in pedestrian zones, and pedestrian connection paths including staircases and overpasses. The applicable regulation is the municipal statute on street cleaning and winter service and on the collection of street cleaning and winter service fees (Street Cleaning and Winter Service Statute) in its currently applicable version. It is generally adopted in the last quarter of each year by the City Council of Essen in an up-to-date version.
