TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this invitation to tender is the provision of winter service at the locks and operational premises of the external district of Nürnberg along the federal waterway Main-Donau-Kanal (MDK). The winter service includes the following operating facilities: LOT 1: Lock Kriegenbrunn (14,500 m²) Lock Erlangen (15,000 m²) LOT 2: Operational premises of the external district and the Nürnberg works yard (19,600 m²) Lock Nürnberg (13,700 m²) Lock Eibach (15,400 m²) To ensure safe, walkable and drivable access to the operational premises, the areas, access routes, vehicle entrances and stairways marked in the layout plan must be cleared of snow and ice. This is intended to meet the requirements of the duty to ensure traffic safety for the company’s own staff and third-party personnel, as well as for persons engaged in navigation. The contractor is responsible for clearing and spreading, or for spreading only, the marked areas in accordance with the attached layout plans.
