TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the present tender is therefore the supply of a total of approximately 67.6 GWh of useful heat for the purpose of heating swimming pools, domestic hot water heating and space heating in 4 indoor swimming pools of the City of Freiburg i. Br. (Westbad, Haslacher Bad, Faulerbad and Lehener Bad) from 1.1.2027 within a contract term of 15 years until 31.12.2041 in sufficient quantity, temperature, output and ecological quality. The heat supply begins in 2027 with the continued operation of the existing gas condensing boiler plants. The technical plant concept for the heat supply to be transformed at that time is technology-neutral. Alongside economic quality, the improvement of the ecological quality of the energy supply to the indoor swimming pools is the main focus for the future heat supply. The evaluation of the offered heat supplies may therefore be carried out on the basis of the price, as well as on the basis of the CO2 emission factor according to AGFW FW309-6, which after a sufficient transformation phase in none of the pools may exceed the value of 160.0 gCO2/kWh.
