TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is therefore the supply of a total of approximately 67.6 GWh of useful heat for the purpose of heating the pools, domestic hot water heating and space heating in 4 indoor swimming pools of the City of Freiburg i. Br. (Westbad, Haslacher Bad, Faulerbad and Lehener Bad) from 1.1.2027 within a contract term of 15 years until 31.12.2041 in sufficient quantity, temperature, output and ecological quality. The heat supply begins in 2027 with the continued operation of the existing gas condensing boiler systems. The technical plant concept for the heat supply that is to be transformed at that time is technology-neutral. In addition to the economic quality, the improvement of the ecological quality of the energy supply for the indoor swimming pools is the focus for the future heat supply. The assessment of the offered heat supplies is therefore carried out on the basis of the price, and also on the basis of the CO2 emission factor according to AGFW FW309-6, which after a sufficient transformation phase may not exceed the value of 160.0 gCO2/kWh in any of the pools.
