Execution of supplementary safeguarding works in the Michałowice chamber at level IIn, together with the reconstruction of the small shaft/lock from the Urszula chamber to the Michałowice chamber.” 1. The subject of the contract is the performance of mining works aimed at carrying out supplementary safeguarding works in the Michałowice chamber at level IIn, together with the reconstruction of the small shaft/lock from the Urszula chamber to the Michałowice chamber in the underground part of the Wieliczka Salt Mine. 2. The purpose of the mining works will be the reconstruction and safeguarding of openings/excavations due to numerous deformations of the lattice framework structures, settlement and buckling of wooden elements, as well as loosening of the wedges supporting the lining panels. Visible damage to carpentry/joinery connections and crushing of beams has been caused by the long-term impact of rock-mass forces. In addition, numerous metal clamps and rings show a significant degree of corrosion, and some of them have lost their load-bearing properties.
