TENDER DESCRIPTION

The digitization of road infrastructure management makes it possible to digitally map structures such as bridges and proactively control them throughout their lifecycle. The core is the Digital Twin (DT) – a virtual, dynamic representation that is continuously supplied with data through bidirectional coupling and derives forecasts as well as action recommendations. For federal highways, a federated, modularly structured data and integration concept is planned. For bridge structures, a variety of data from inventory documents, structural inspections, monitoring, and specialist procedures are available, but are held by different actors in different formats and are only linked to a limited extent. A reliable basis for seamless integration into a Digital Twin is missing. The practical implementation of the BASt IT framework architecture on a real structure has not been sufficiently demonstrated. The goal of the FE project is the structure-related implementation of a Digital Twin for a pilot structure while validating the BASt IT framework architecture using the example of a real bridge structure.
