Securing riverbanks and improving flow conditions of flood waters in the bed of the Uszwica stream in km 16+800 - 18+100 The subject of the contract is Securing riverbanks and improving flow conditions of flood waters in the bed of the Uszwica stream in km 16+800 - 18+100. The scope of the works includes:• Mechanical cutting and clearing of shrubs from the riverbanks over the length of the works to be performed;• Clearing the site after shrub removal of small branches, roots, with transport/disposal;• Cross-earthworks for re-channelling (transfer) of excavated material, with the placement of the displaced soil into damaged banks;• Compaction of the soil placed into an embankment to form an apron along its length made of stone armour;• Construction of fascine lining to lay heavy stone armour;• Laying stone armour loose from the bank, with over-water loading onto the previously made fascine lining;• Cleaning the stream bed of fallen trees, cutting down submerged and silted trees that obstruct water flow, removing debris dams made of branches, shrubs and soil;• Mechanical leveling of the levee ramp by cutting off convexities and backfilling depressions;• Construction of a…
