TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the public contract is to ensure the performance of the Cyber Security Manager role for the contracting authority – Mendel University in Brno – in accordance with the requirements of Act No. 264/2025 Sb., on Cyber Security, as amended (hereinafter also referred to as “ZKB”). The contracting authority is a mandatory person under the ZKB. The contracting authority procures the Cyber Security Manager (CSM) service in the form of outsourcing from a qualified external provider — a legal or natural person. The provider will ensure the performance of the CSM role through outsourcing and will fulfil all obligations arising from: 1. the Act on Cyber Security, 2. implementing regulations, 3. the regulator’s requirements, 4. the contracting authority’s internal security regulations, including methodological management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS), coordination of the implementation of security measures, support for managing cyber risks and incidents, and communication with the regulator.
