TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of the contract is the purchase and refuelling of aviation fuel JET A-1 in an amount of up to 800,000 litres, in accordance with the requirements set out in the Terms of Reference. During the term of the contract, the Contracting Authority undertakes to purchase a minimum quantity of aviation fuel JET A-1 of 400,000 litres or up to 50% of the maximum gross remuneration. The fuel must come from current production (i.e. from the period of performance of the contract) and may contain components that meet the established quality requirements. The quality of the fuel to be refuelled into the Contracting Authority’s aircraft must comply with DEF STAN 91-091 WT and ASTM D 1655 or an equivalent standard. Payment for the fuel will be made at a price not burdened with excise duty on the terms specified in the Excise Duty Act and not including a fuel charge.
