TENDER DESCRIPTION

The invitation to tender is for the procurement of ten help fire-fighting group vehicles HLF 20 in accordance with DIN 14530-27 for the fire brigade in Braunschweig. Due to local conditions, in respect of certain requirements the tender deviates from the specifications of DIN 14530-27; this is named accordingly in the specifications. Five vehicles are intended for use by the full-time fire brigade (Berufsfeuerwehr), the other vehicles will be used at locations of the volunteer fire brigade (Freiwillige Feuerwehr). The delivery time is stated under EU 5.1.3 in the publication notice text as 1 day, as delivery of the vehicles takes place on a specific day each time. The first vehicle is initially intended as a prototype. Following delivery, it will be used in training and operational service for a period of 6 – 8 weeks and thus be subject to an extended acceptance procedure. Following the vehicle, the remaining vehicles are to be delivered in pairs each time, with an interval between the individual deliveries of 12 weeks and not more than 16 weeks.
