TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract award will be carried out by means of a partially functional performance description with a bill of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnis). In the following, this will be simplified and referred to as “bill of quantities” or “BOQ”. In Title 01, the turnkey manufacture of the works is to be offered, including its delivery and, if applicable, the necessary repositioning for transport to the construction site, on-site assembly, and the standby service during the fair period. After the Wiesn, the Hofbräu fair tent is to be dismantled, stored, and prepared for erection in the following year. These annual take-down and set-up works as well as the storage of the components must also be offered and are covered under Title 02 – Annually recurring construction works. The current tent already has a service life of more than 50 years; the new tent is also intended to achieve this service life. All necessary structural components and parts are to be designed for very long service life and for annual take-down and set-up.
