• Concept Creation: Developing a concept for the water intakes and pumping stations.
• Planning Basis: Creating a planning basis because essential planning goals are not yet known.
• Service Phases: Performing Service Phase 1 and Service Phase 2 of the engineering services.
• Variant Analysis: Investigating, comparing, and presenting at least three variants during Service Phase 2c (or 2e).
• Site Inspection: A local inspection is recommended for coordination and a rough site visit, estimated at one full working day.
• Rehabilitation of Water Abstraction Facilities: The overall project aims at the rehabilitation of water abstraction facilities, specifically at the Oybiner water intakes (Elfen- & Schulwiese) and the pumping station in Lückendorf.
• Clarification of Rehabilitation Priority: In HOAI Service Phases 1 and 2, it needs to be clarified which abstraction facility requires priority rehabilitation.

• Lückendorf Pumping Station:
• Ensuring the Br.2-pump directly supplies the water treatment plant and the forester's house.
• Continuing the Br.1-pump's direct supply over the "mountain."
• Implementing parallel operation of both pumps to secure Zittau's water supply if Oybin water intakes fail.
• Reviewing the continued use of the minimum quantity pump and the elevated tank.
• Adapting MSR technology and integrating it with the control system to current standards.
• Renewing the transformer station by June 30, 2028.
• Rehabilitating DU shafts and the BEV on the raw water pipeline.
• Equipping the shafts with intrusion detection systems.
• Evaluating the necessity and timing for replacing the raw water pipeline from the Lückendorf pumping station to the water treatment plant.
• Oybin Elfen- & Schulwiese Water Intakes:
• Assessing if the Elfenwiese well needs renovation.
• Determining if the raw water pipeline between Elfen- & Schulwiese needs cleaning, rehabilitation, or renewal.
• Proposing methods for continued raw water extraction at WF Schulwiese, including the use of a siphon.
• Providing for the installation of a submersible pump in case of new well construction.
• Adapting the existing building to current standards.
