TENDER DESCRIPTION

The work to be carried out concerns interventions to control vegetation along the approaches to railway tracks by manual and mechanical methods. Each area will be treated in such a way as to restore herbaceous vegetation cover without woody plants over the long term. The work concerns all the green dependencies of the site for the LGV Nord Européenne.. The work includes the following operations: • Manual and mechanical mowing • Manual and mechanical brush clearance • Felling, trimming, dismantling of a tree • Removal of waste found within the LGV areas • Sowing of the brush-cleared areas in order to restore herbaceous cover • Installation of mats, tarpaulins or anti-vegetation geomembrane • Removal of accumulated plant debris or installed vegetation These works may be carried out during the day or at night when circumstances require it (safety with regard to trains or electrical installations under high voltage).
