TENDER DESCRIPTION

REFOPLAN 2026: “Evaluation and impact analysis of the implementation of sustainability requirements pursuant to RED or sustainability regulations (NachEval )” The project aims to carry out an initial evaluation of the state of implementation of the sustainability regulations that implement the requirements for sustainability criteria and the greenhouse gas savings requirements for support for electricity generation and the production of biofuels of Directive (EU) 2023/2413 on renewable energies (RED). In future, the BioKraft-NachV and the BioSt.-NachV are to be examined to determine whether the objectives of the regulatory projects under RED are achieved. This is to be carried out within the context of an external, sustained, and legally binding evaluation that is performed and documented according to criteria to be defined. When preparing an evaluation plan, a concept for a formalised sustainability assessment is to be taken as a starting point; this concept is currently being developed within the project BioNachRED (FKZ 3724437010, need for implementing sustainability provisions of RED III).
