TENDER DESCRIPTION
Vivantes Netzwerk für Gesundheit GmbH (hereinafter referred to as Vivantes) operates hospitals at eight locations (non-independent operating sites) in Berlin, with more than 20,649 employees, as well as other health and social care institutions in Berlin. With approximately 206,278 inpatient cases and approximately 377,061 outpatient cases per year, Vivantes provides care for approximately 30 percent of all hospital patients in Berlin. In more than 100 clinics and medical institutes, approximately 5,928 hospital beds are available for inpatient treatment of patients. The Vivantes Group also includes twenty-one nursing homes, two senior housing facilities, outpatient rehabilitation, medical care centers, outpatient nursing care, a hospice, as well as subsidiaries for catering, cleaning and laundry. The individual locations are distributed across the entire city area of Berlin. In all facilities, high-quality medical, nursing and social-therapeutic care is ensured.
