TENDER DESCRIPTION

The annual material requirement of the waterworks of VGW AK-FF shall be covered by this contract. The material is intended mainly for maintenance, repair and expansion work to the water pipeline network of VGW AK-FF to be carried out by the company’s own operating personnel. The water pipeline network of VGW AK-FF comprises a total length of about 380 km and 15,500 service connections. The scope includes, among other things, the supply of: - pressure pipes - installation fittings - bracket holder pieces - bending angles - cast mould fittings - PE electrofusion fittings - push-fit fittings - street covers - support plates - gaskets - pipe joint sealing clamps - shut-off fittings - service pipe entries into buildings - fire hydrants - screws - PVC moulded fittings - water meter chamber - shut-off clamps - support sleeves - pull-out safety restraints The contract is to be concluded for a period of 12 months and may be extended by Verbandsgemeindewerke Altenkirchen-Flammersfeld on three occasions, unilaterally, by a further 12 months each time until 31.10. of the previous year. The maximum call-off volume per 12 months is 300,000 € net.
