xxMetal and structural steelwork in the area of Structural steelwork as part of the renovation of the Otfried-Müller building -Young Theatre venue- Hospitalstraße 6 / 37073 Göttingen ##The construction project provides for the renovation of the Otfried-Müller building, which is in part protected as a listed building, and of the assembly hall building, which is likewise in part protected as a listed building. The newer, unprotected extension will be demolished and replaced with a new extension. The building has been empty since summer 2019; it is no longer in operation and has a considerable need for renovation. The building component “Villa Otfried-Müller house” was constructed using a combination of masonry construction (basement and ground floor) and timber framing construction (upper floors and roof). The roof structure consists for the most part of timber beams from the time of construction. The floors above the basement level are masonry arched ceilings and, in small areas, timber beam ceilings.
