xxMetal and steel construction works in the area of structural steelwork as part of the refurbishment of the Otfried-Müller House -Young Theatre venue- Hospitalstraße 6 / 37073 Göttingen ##The construction project provides for the refurbishment of the Otfried-Müller House, which is partly listed as a historic monument, and of the hall building, which is likewise partly listed as a historic monument. The newer extension that is not protected will be demolished and replaced by a new extension. The building has been vacant since summer 2019; it is no longer in operation and shows a considerable need for refurbishment. The structural component “Villa Otfried-Müller House” was built in a combination of masonry construction (basement and ground floor) and timber framing construction (upper floors and attic) and has a roof structure made predominantly of timber beams from the construction period. The ceilings above the basement level are masonry barrel ceilings and in small areas timber-beam ceilings.
