TENDER DESCRIPTION

The University of Utrecht (UU) has approximately 700 fume cupboards at the Utrecht Science Park (USP), spread across 15 buildings. We contract the quarterly cleaning, inspection and, if necessary, repair of the fume cupboards. Most fume cupboards are located in laboratories, and a few in workshops. The age of the fume cupboards varies, and there is a wide variety of brands and types. In the description of the services (PvE), the content of the assignment has been further elaborated. The estimated value for cleaning and inspecting the fume cupboards is €104,500 excluding VAT per year. If the full contract duration of 10 years is used, this amounts to a total estimate of €1,045,000 excluding VAT.
