TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract is a fixed-price “Design and build” contract (STk) that includes a development phase. In addition to a standard ST contract, there is a joint development phase between the client and the contractor, placed between the contractor’s selection and construction, in which, among other things, the objective is to develop design solutions. The development phase is described in more detail in the tender documents. The tender does not require an initial construction design plan to be attached. However, the contractor is responsible for the compliance of its tender solutions with the product requirements. During the development phase, the client and the contractor continue to develop the construction design plan in cooperation with the contractor. The development phase ends when the client makes a decision to move to the implementation phase. The contract includes an approximately four-month development phase after which the implementation phase is decided. As consideration for the development phase, the client pays the contractor in accordance with the tasks under the development-phase contract and the unit-price-based costs, in line with the work hours and expenses…
