TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contract is a fixed-price Design and Build (D/B) contract including a development phase. In addition to a conventional D/B contract, there is a joint development phase between the client and the contractor placed between the selection of the contractor and the construction; among other things, the goal is to develop design solutions. The development phase is described in more detail in the tender documents. A preliminary construction design does not need to be attached to the tender. However, the contractor is responsible for the compliance of its tender solutions with the product requirements. During the development phase, the client and the contractor continue to develop the construction design plan in cooperation with the contractor. The development phase ends when the client makes a decision to move to the implementation phase. The contract includes an approximately four-month development phase, after which the implementation phase is decided.
