TENDER DESCRIPTION

The subject of this tender is meadow management on the airside of Düsseldorf Airport. The services in particular include mowing, mulching and maintenance work on different types of green areas, including trackside strips, long-grass areas and diversion and special areas. The work is carried out in the security area partly while flight operations are ongoing and must therefore be performed in accordance with the airport’s operational and safety-related requirements. The scope of services also includes the collection, recovery/utilisation and, if necessary, proper disposal of the resulting mown material, as well as ensuring that the adjacent airfield operating areas are kept in a clean condition and free from FOD. The management is carried out with particular consideration given to flight safety and the biotope management of Düsseldorf Airport.
