TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contractor assumes, as the facility operator, responsibility for the safe operation and the safe condition of the street lighting network. As the owner of the installation, the City of Papenburg is responsible for traffic safety. In this respect, the contractor shall support the City in such a way that the City of Papenburg can fulfil its traffic safety obligation by planning and carrying out suitable inspection services. The contractor shall also notify the installation owner whether an installation condition exists that indicates that the City of Papenburg is no longer meeting its traffic safety obligation. The measures planned are to be listed in the operator concept. These shall be covered by the lump sum, insofar as they are not associated with refurbishment or inspection of structural stability. If a piece of equipment is in a technically no longer faultless condition and, as a result, the safety of persons and the safety of the installation are endangered, this shall be reported to the City in good time.
