TENDER DESCRIPTION

Due to the different requirements for object storage and accommodation and the assessment criteria derived from these for geoscientific and zoological collection objects, the following division of the subject matter of the contract is made: Lot 1: Collection cabinets for accommodating a geological glacial erratics collection, as well as mineralogical and palaeontological objects of the LIB Hamburg. Lot 2: Collection cabinets for accommodating malacological collection objects (shells and housings of snails) of the LIB Hamburg. The storage furniture must store the collection material safely and ensure its easy handling. In manufacturing, particular attention must be paid to the fact that individual components such as the cabinet carcass, drawer and guide systems, doors, coatings, installed plastics or seals do not emit reactive volatile compounds, such as volatile organic compounds, solvents or other reactive compounds, which may damage the collection material.
