TENDER DESCRIPTION

Due to the differing requirements for object storage and accommodation and the assessment criteria derived from this for geoscientific and zoological collection objects, the following division of the subject matter of the contract is made: Lot 1: collection cabinets for accommodating a geological glacial erratics collection, as well as mineralogical and palaeontological objects of the LIB Hamburg. Lot 2: collection cabinets for accommodating malacological collection objects (shells and housings of snails) of the LIB Hamburg. The storage furniture must store the collection material safely and ensure easy handling. In the manufacturing process, special care must be taken to ensure that the individual components such as cabinet carcass, drawer and guide systems, doors, coatings, installed plastics or seals do not emit reactive volatile compounds, such as volatile organic compounds, solvents, or other reactive compounds that may damage the collection material.
