TENDER DESCRIPTION

The A Lama Penitentiary Centre (Pontevedra) is located in the municipal district of A Lama (Pontevedra), approximately 30 km from the entrance to the town of Pontevedra and 55 km from the town of Vigo. The purpose of this contract is to ensure the provision of this essential public service, guaranteeing the travel of workers from their place of residence to the Penitentiary Centre under maximum security conditions and safeguarding their integrity. This travel, precisely because of the importance of the function performed by the workers of Penitentiary Institutions as set out above, necessarily requires specific confidentiality characteristics and prevention and security measures. Added to all of this is the fact that, in most cases, penitentiary centres are located in areas far from urban centres, which makes this service even more essential in order to guarantee the presence of public employees at their workplace in the different shifts and timetables.
