TENDER DESCRIPTION

Messe Berlin GmbH (hereinafter “Messe Berlin” or the “contracting authority”) tenders this construction service relating to the connector between halls 8 and 9. The subject matter of this procurement is construction services for the connector in Hall 8. The contract unit 03 roof works includes insulation and sealing works on new and existing flat roof areas. These include the installation of thermal insulation made of mineral wool as well as a bituminous roofing membrane waterproofing system, including the required edge, junction and detail workmanship at parapets, upstands, roof skylights and penetrations. The scope also includes creating and closing roof penetrations, installing and sealing in built-in components supplied by the contractor, and roof drains/catchment inlets, as well as temporary emergency waterproofing and vapour barriers during the construction period. In the area of existing shaft structures, insulation and sealing works are planned in connection with shaft height increases as well as repairs to existing roof surfaces.
