TENDER DESCRIPTION

The contracting authority for Lot 1 is Wasserkraftwerke Weinfelden AG. The subject matter is the interdisciplinary overall planning services for the further design and implementation of the hydropower plant Weinfelden from Phase 32 construction project up to Phase 53 commissioning and completion. The mandate includes in particular the construction of the hydropower plant with upstream and downstream fish passage, water engineering measures on the Thur, the dismantling of the existing power plant and canal facilities, the restoration of the areas and waters affected, the replacement pipeline for feeding the Oelebach, as well as the required technical ancillary facilities. The design of the replacement forebay is provided as an optional service; the coordination of professional and schedule-related interfaces is part of the basic assignment. Also included are overall coordination, preparation of tender documents and award of the implementation services, detailed execution planning, local site construction management, commissioning and project completion.
