TENDER DESCRIPTION

The objective of the project is to examine how the energy transition has affected investment and jobs in the energy sector. For this purpose, existing data from statistics, companies and scientific studies will be evaluated. On this basis, investments in the energy transition and employment in the energy sector are to be presented over a longer period. A particular focus is on renewable energies, since so far only a few official data on employment are available. In addition, it may be investigated what costs energy supply creates for consumers. The areas of electricity, heat and transport are considered, and the various costs are combined. The contractor supports the BMWE with data evaluation and with the development of suitable key figures. The aim is to present the previous economic impacts of the energy transition in a comprehensible manner on the basis of data.
