The building and contents insurance for the City of Eisenach is being tendered. The total insured sum for buildings is EUR 328,865,408.00, for buildings at market value EUR 54,800.00, and for the contents EUR 19,827,096.00. The insured perils are fire, damage by escaping water, storm/hail, and in the contents section additionally burglary/theft. In addition, an insurance policy for natural hazards (elemental damage) is to be part of the tender. Offers are to be submitted either without a deductible or alternatively with a deductible in the amount of EUR 2,000.00 (maximum EUR 20,000.00 per year).
