TENDER DESCRIPTION

Purchase of four identical 19-inch rack servers including licenses for remote management as well as manufacturer’s warranty and support. The servers are used as hosts for the virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) in the contracting authority’s existing virtualization environment (VMware vSphere/ESXi). All four servers are to be configured identically. The scope of performance includes delivery of the fully assembled servers, factory-tested and ready for operation, to the site at Mittelstraße 43 in Bonn (Section 6). Installation in the server rack, commissioning as well as installation and configuration of the hypervisor are carried out by the contracting authority. Delivery of all four servers is to take place as soon as possible after contract award—however no later than 18.12.2026. Bids with a later delivery date are excluded.
