The contract timeline includes the following:

The delivery of the aggregates must take place within 9 months after the order is issued. The tender deadline is October 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM. The binding period for offers ends on November 30, 2026. There is a warranty period of 24 months. An optional annual maintenance contract for the engine and generator is also mentioned.

The core scope of work for this tender involves the procurement of emergency power generators to ensure the emergency power supply of critical infrastructures and maintain operational capability during power outages for the city of Mayen. The objective is to provide a powerful, reliable, and quickly deployable emergency power supply for civil protection, disaster control, and municipal facilities.

The core deliverables include:

• Delivery and assembly of four emergency power generators.
• Delivery, operational handover (fully assembled), and instruction for three mobile emergency power generators as per the description.
• Three mobile emergency power generators (Notstromgenerator) suitable for building feed-in.
• Three braked trailer chassis (Auflaufbremse) designed for 80 km/h, with a maximum permissible total weight of 2,500 kg, height-adjustable drawbar with interchangeable coupling for cars and trucks, and various electrical connections and lighting.
• Three chassis widenings including side storage boxes (two lockable aluminum checker plate boxes, weather-resistant, with ≥ 50 kg payload each).
• Three emergency power generators (Notstromgenerator) with a continuous power (PRP) of ≥ 60 kVA according to ISO 8528, 400/230 V, 50 Hz, including a water-cooled diesel engine (min. 54 kW, EU Stage V emission level), synchronous generator with electronic voltage regulation (AVR), IT/TN switching, a tank volume of ≥ 200 liters (providing ≥ 20 hours runtime at 75% load), two-stage insulation monitoring, digital control, integrated battery charger, remote start contact, emergency stop button, soundproof and weatherproof housing, and an integrated collection tray for operating fluids.
• Delivery of accessories and their loading into the material boxes.
• Transport to the point of use.
• Commissioning and functional testing under load.
• Instruction of operating personnel.
• Documentation, including operating manuals, test protocols, user manuals, proof of exhaust gas stage V, and wiring/connection diagrams.
• Type approval (Zulassungsgutachten) according to StVZO for approval as a fire brigade vehicle.
• At least two sets of keys per power generator.
• On-site instruction and commissioning by a service technician for approximately 10 employees in Mayen.

Included accessories to be stored in the aggregate's storage boxes are:

• One 400 Volt, 63A, CEE feed-in cable (10 meters of 16mm² H07 RN-F 5G16 cable, with CEE plug and coupling 63A 5-pole 1h for emergency power feed-in IP67 according to DIN VDE 0100-551).
• One 230 Volt 16A cable reel (50m 3 × 2.5mm² H07RN-F cable, yellow, with Schuko plug IP54, and at least three 230V, 16 A, IP54 Schuko sockets, including thermal protection).

Optional services, which are not part of the total price and must be listed and priced separately, include:

• A maintenance contract for annual engine and generator maintenance, including material and testing of the entire electrical system according to DGUV V3.
• Foil wrapping/lettering ("Beklebung / Folierung") according to the specifications of the Mayen city administration, using weatherproof, UV-resistant foil, with letters approximately 15 cm high, displaying "Katastrophenschutz Stadt Mayen" on both sides.
