TENDER DESCRIPTION
In order to protect Statens IT (Contracting Authority) against current and future cyber threats, the Contracting Authority uses a range of security technologies, including an Extended Detection and Response (XDR) platform. The XDR platform supports the collection, correlation, and analysis of security-related incidents across the Contracting Authority’s IT environment to protect systems, services, and data, as well as to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data. In this regard, the Contracting Authority is offering a contract aimed at supporting and strengthening the Contracting Authority’s own operational IT security through the delivery of a Managed Detection and Response (MDR) service from a Security Operations Center (SOC). The MDR service must use and supplement the Contracting Authority’s XDR platform with 24/7 staffed monitoring, analysis, detection, validation, escalation, and handling of security incidents.
