TENDER DESCRIPTION

Deliveries are made to three locations. Please refer to the service description for the specified serving times and the addresses. A specific production system is not prescribed. Hot meal service (Cook & Hold) and systems with regeneration at the daycare centre are permitted (e.g. Cook & Chill or Cook & Freeze). The proposed system must be described in the tender. For hot meal service, the food is prepared in the contractor’s central kitchen; from there it is transported in special containers to the meal service point, where portioning takes place. During the process (time from the completion of the food in the central kitchen until the end of meal service), the food is kept warm in accordance with the requirements, but for a maximum of 3 hours. For systems with regeneration, the food is delivered cooled or deep-frozen and regenerated at the daycare centre in such a way that it is ready for consumption at the beginning of meal service. Any equipment required for this which is not available at the daycare centre (see kitchen layouts) shall be provided by the contractor at its own expense. Deliveries are made to three locations.
