TENDER DESCRIPTION

Lot 1: Wide Area network (WAN) connectivity To provide Wide Area network (WAN) connectivity between each of The Bank's Offices & Data Centres • To be multiple high speed (1-10Gb/s), low latency (less than 5 ms), protected circuits. • Protection to be provided by diverse routes with no single points of failure, evidenced to The Bank that demonstrate circuit resilience during a fail-over scenario. • Seamless fail-over at all site locations for the achievement of uptime optimisation • Support The Bank's end-to-end encryption for all communications traversing WAN. • Ability to "burst" and "soft scale" bandwidth to the limit of the respective WAN circuits • No shared infrastructure or service provider between Lot 1 and 2 • Circuits must be owned, managed and maintained by the responder. Services must be provided and operated from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. No Bank data must leave the UK. £10m over the two services over the ten years.
