TENDER DESCRIPTION

The building of the kindergarten of the City of Waldeck in the Sachsenhausen district is run-down and is to be replaced by a new build at another location. In addition, pursuant to § 24 SGB VIII there is a legal entitlement to a childcare place, the fulfilment of which must be ensured in the long term. A daycare centre with 5 groups is to be built. For an additional sixth group, a modular extension is to be considered in the building and outdoor facilities planning. The new building is to be modern, barrier-free, inclusive and future-proof. A sustainable, CO2-reducing construction method is targeted, with good summer heat protection and winter thermal insulation. Parts of the building, especially the activity/movement room, are also to be usable by external groups, such as clubs, outside the opening hours of the daycare centre. With regard to the energy supply, a variant study is to be carried out. As heat sources, a heat pump and the district heating network planned in Sachsenhausen are to be examined.
